[you know takaomi said that senri pops out of nowhere to bug people but looking at the pattern so far,

anyway, hi.]

Did you learn about what happens to eliminated gods?

[senri why. ray is obviously judging him right now because he doesn't even see the point.]

Probably, because you're not going to like it. Any part of it, really.

Keep in mind that this isn't for sure—the gods I talked to weren't sure of the details, so you might want to corroborate this with the others. [a beat.] Just not Sincerity, because he apparently retained about no info when planning the system with the others.

[sincerity is useless,]

They might be removed from the competition and therefore setting, temporarily stripped of their position as a god. Basically, their equivalent to us participants dying.

[... well, that's part one to what he has to say, anyway.]

When I asked Piety—the god who told me most of this [because piety is the most useful god tbh]—if elimination meant death, they said it was likely, but only until a winner was crowned. So, sounds like it.
selfimmolates: (ne. 3.)

[personal profile] selfimmolates 2019-03-01 12:09 am (UTC)(link)
It isn't, no.

... There's something else I want to mention, though. Not about the consequences of elimination itself, but why they implemented this to begin with.

[...]

What would you think of the gods who were in favour of this mechanic?
selfimmolates: (ne. 21.)

[personal profile] selfimmolates 2019-03-01 12:12 am (UTC)(link)
And if they were a god who didn't necessarily have any stake in it?
selfimmolates: (ne. 2.)

[personal profile] selfimmolates 2019-03-01 12:19 am (UTC)(link)
[he nods.]

Ruin was the one who suggested it, and they put it to a vote, or something like that. No surprise that Cunning, Disorder, and Ambition backed her. Indulgence too, though Piety suspects he didn't think it through, like you were saying. Justice was threatened into agreeing.

The other gods were all against it. Six versus six. They needed Patience to break the tie—and here we are.

[personal profile] selfimmolates 2019-03-01 12:26 am (UTC)(link)
[... he knew senri wouldn't be happy, but anger is a bit unexpected.]

Piety could be lying, but it'd be pretty easy to catch him in it unless every other god has the memory of a goldfish, so it's probably the truth.
selfimmolates: (ne. 21.)

[personal profile] selfimmolates 2019-03-01 05:58 am (UTC)(link)
No, I didn't ask. I don't know if it matters now—the oath or whatever is in place.

[...]

To be frank, I'm concerned about Patience. I know you two were friendly, which is why I told you that. I don't really trust her, especially since Piety thinks she's biding her time for something.

I'm going to try and send a message to Itachi or Shiki to see if they know anything, since they should be with her.

Piety said it's possible to send messages across the two realms, and that we might be able to form a line of communication with those under Patience's "care" right now.

[except that's where the thread is right now so i can't tell you more than that,]

No.

[he reaches over to flick senri's temple.]

That doesn't exempt you from thinking, you know. But go ahead. He's annoying, but he's reasonable.

Anyway, that's what I got.

[personal profile] selfimmolates 2019-03-01 12:59 pm (UTC)(link)
[he nods.]

Zoe and I told each other ours, once I realized Love had basically set us up to find each other. [a beat.] Have you told anyone else mine?
selfimmolates: (ne. 5.)

[personal profile] selfimmolates 2019-03-01 04:40 pm (UTC)(link)
Keep it that way. Love isn't a god most would expect from me, and I'll take advantage of that if I can.

Yeah, she tasked Zoe with finding the alignment of all the people she considers friends. It's exactly the kind of thing I'd expect from her, so I had a good guess as to who Zoe's god was as soon as Zoe mentioned that.

[he had his reasons for sharing his god, but he won't get into that here.]
